Responsibilities/Duties:

GRANDE PRAIRIE REGIONAL HOSPITAL - ANESTHESIOLOGY: The Grande Prairie Regional Hospital is seeking an individual to join our group of specialist Anesthesiologists. The successful candidate must have training and expertise (FRCPC or FRCPC eligible) in the management of Anesthesia including obstetric, dental, and pediatric anesthesia (greater than 1 year of age).

The position will include hospital call.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Reside in and have as his/her primary residence, Grande Prairie.
  • Provide hospital and call support as required.
  • Contribute to and participate in teaching programs and activities.
  • Contribute to and participate in other administrative responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

Educational Requirements:

  • Registration with the Royal College of Canada is required.
  • Registration with the CPSA or proof of Eligibility for Alberta Licensure (required with application).
  • Preference will be given to applicants who do not require or have completed the CPSA Preliminary Clinical Assessment.

Only candidates selected for an interview will be selected.
