Alberta Health Services, South Zone is currently recruiting for afull-time Cardiologistfor the Chinook Regional Hospital (CRH).

The successful candidate will:

  • Establish and maintain a full-time Cardiology practice in the community of Lethbridge;
  • Provide inpatient consultations (including ICU);
  • Provide outpatient cardiac services;
  • Provide on-call support as per AHS's on-call schedules;
  • Participate within the established Heart Function Clinic, Cardiac Device Clinic, and Cardiac Rehabilitation Program;
  • Obtain and maintain an AHS Medical Staff Appointment and appropriate privileges to provide the services;
  • Participate in quality improvement programs and initiatives.

The successful candidate:

  • Must have or be eligible for FRCPC or equivalent; with a Fellowship in Cardiology;
  • Must be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta.
