Alberta Health Services, Department of Addiction & Mental Health in partnership with the University of Alberta, Faculty of Medicine & Dentistry, Department of Psychiatry, is inviting applications from psychiatrists with expertise in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. Our multi-disciplinary teams consisting of psychiatry, nursing, psychology, occupational therapy, social work, education, and speech language pathology provide assistance for more than 1.4 million people in Edmonton Metropolitan Region.
This position provides psychiatric assessment and follow up to children and youth who present at the Regional Clinics within and surrounding Edmonton, and provides consultations to the mental health therapists at these clinics.
An interest in the education of residents and students is highly desirable as the successful candidate is expected to apply for a Clinical Faculty Appointment in the Department of Psychiatry, University of Alberta.
