The University of Alberta, Faculty of Medicine & Dentistry, Department of Medicine in partnership with Alberta Health Services, isinviting applications for LOCUM General Internist Physicians, at the Royal Alexandra Hospital, who have additional training in Obstetric Medicine.Located in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, the Faculty is internationally recognized as among the worlds top 50 medical schools and as one of Canadas premier health-education institutions.
The GIM Division is invested in the teaching of ward based medical teaching units in internal medicine, actively contributing to the education of medical students, residents and other learners.Appointment to the Alberta Health Services Medical Staff is required.

In addition, the candidate must have at least 6 months of Obstetric Medicine training. The successful applicants are expected to participate in clinical service commitments in the Obstetric Medicine service at the Royal Alexandra Hospital, in Edmonton, which may include but are not limited to: inpatient consultation service, and outpatient Obstetric Medicine clinics including general clinic, and diabetes in pregnancy clinic.
