Covenant Health, in partnership with Alberta Health Services and the University of Alberta, Faculty of Medicine & Dentistry, Department of Emergency Medicine, invites applications for a locum Emergency Medicine Specialist at the Misericordia Community Hospital in Edmonton, Alberta.This is an outstanding practice opportunity to work on a committed and creative team serving local and outlying communities in Albertas Edmonton Zone.This position holds a 1.0 FTE from November 21, 2023 June 30, 2024.
Required:
MD or equivalent.
Licensed or eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta.
Certification in Emergency Medicine with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada or the College of Family Physicians Canada (FRCPC or CCFP-EM)
ACLS, PALS, and ATLC Competency.
Expertise and commitment to quality care and patient safety.
Demonstrated commitment to Equity, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI) in the healthcare environment.
Understanding of Just Culture and its role in healthcare.
