Alberta Health Services, South Zone is currently seeking a full-time Physiatristfor the Chinook Regional Hospital (CRH)
- Establish and maintain a full-time, full scope Physiatry practice in the community of Lethbridge;
- Provide inpatient and community consultations, including:
- shared call coverage for the Post-Acute Rehabilitation Unit at the St Michael's Health Centre
- Obtain and maintain an AHS Medical Staff Appointment and appropriate privileges to provide the Services;
- Abide by the AHS Medical Staff Bylaws, the AHS Medical Staff Rules and AHS policies;
- Work collaboratively within the clinical department of Senior's Health at CRH;
- Reside in and have as primary residence the community or surrounding catchment area of Lethbridge;
- Participate in quality improvement programs and initiatives.
- Fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada
- Must have or be eligible for independent practitioner registration with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta
- Stroke follow-up and rehabilitation an asset

CRH has 250 acute care beds, 45 geriatric beds, 10 ICU beds and 15 NICU bassinets. CRH is an accredited Level 3 Trauma Centre providing coverage in Pediatrics, Geriatrics, General Surgery, Medicine Obstetrics & Gynecology, ENT, Urology, Orthopedics, Ophthalmology, Plastic Surgery and Cancer services.
