Pulmonary LocumPhysician. The University of Alberta, Faculty of Medicine & Dentistry, Department of Medicine, Division of Medicine in partnership with Alberta Health Services invites applications for a Pulmonary Locum Physician to be based at the Royal Akexandra Hospital (RAH). Located in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, the Faculty has been internationally recognized as among the world&rsquo#CD#s top 50 medical schools and as one of Canada&rsquo#CD#s premier health-education institutions.
Qualifications:The successful candidate will have an MD degree, or equivalent. He or she will be eligible to be certified in General Internal Medicine with the Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Canada. As well, he or she will be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta (CPSA). Key accountabilities of the GIM Physician will include, but will not be limited to providing in-patient and out-patient GIM services and on-call services at the UAH site. The successful applicant will be expected to apply for a Clinical Academic Colleague Appointment in the Department of Medicine, University of Alberta, which will be considered under a separate process through the Faculty of Medicine & Dentistry.
