Job Details

The Claresholm Medical Centre is accepting applications from physicians with training in Family Medicine who will practice in Claresholm.

The successful applicant will maintain a full-time community based practice in Claresholm.

  • Provide hospital and on-call support as per call schedules including participation in the ER and Inpatient coverage at Claresholm General Hospital.
  • Provide patient care at the Willow Creek Continuing Care Centre as required.

About the Community of Claresholm:

Claresholm has a population of 3,780 and is located within southern Alberta, on Highway 2, approximately 91 km northwest of the City of Lethbridge, 125 km south of the City of Calgary and within one hour from the mountains. The town provides a wide range of retail, government and professional services to the surrounding region making it a prosperous community. Claresholm offers excellent recreation with an 18-hole golf course, indoor swimming pool, baseball park, tennis courts, curling and skating rinks, and an active agriplex.
