The Department of Rural Medicine is accepting applications from physicians with training in family medicine to join the Rural Medicine Locum Program (RMLP) and provide locum coverage in Claresholm this summer.
Locum assignments will include clinic coverage, hospital and on-call support as per call schedules including participation in the ER and inpatient coverage at Claresholm General Hospital. Locum coverage is needed for the following dates:
July 9-22, 2023
July 23-August 5, 2023
August 6-19, 2023
August 20 September 2, 2023
September 3-14, 2023

Applications must be submitted via Doctor Jobs and include a CV (required) and 3 letters of reference (preferred but will be required during screening/selection process).
The successful applicant will apply for membership with the Calgary Zone Department of Rural Medicine, Section Rural Medicine Locum Program and is required to maintain an AHS Medical Staff Appointment while providing locum coverage with the RMLP.

The candidate must be eligible for Licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta.
Must read, write, and speak English.
