Alberta Health Services is currently seeking the services of independently licensed physicians to Surgical Assist surgeons at the Red Deer Hospital & Care Centre in Red Deer, Alberta. The successful candidate will function as a first assistant for major elective general surgical operations as well as acute care procedures when necessary.An assistant with a specific skillset in advanced laparoscopic and open surgery isnecessary.

Eligible for SA (Surgical Assistant) licensure through the CPSA.

Additional Desired Competencies:
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
