Alberta Health Services is currently seeking the services of an independently licensed physicianto Surgical Assist surgeons at the Viking HealthCentre in Viking, Alberta. This position is to fulfill surgical assist needs in our surgical department. The physician is required to help with assisting our current surgical specialists, including general surgery, gynecological surgical, podiatric surgery and maxillo-facial surgery.

Eligibility:
Eligible for SA (Surgical Assistant) licensure through the CPSA.

Additional Desired Competencies:
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)

All physicians participate in the on-call program at the Viking Health Centre. Participation in the obstetrics program is preferable, but not mandatory.
