Alberta Health Services is currently seeking the services of an independently licensed physician to assist in the management of medical inpatients in Orthopedics under the Surgery Division at the Royal Alexandra Hospital in the Edmonton Zone.
We are recruiting a physician to start as soon as possible. The successful applicant will provide scheduled service in Orthopedics under the Surgery Division at the Royal Alexandra Hospital. Clinical responsibilities will include completing admissions, providing daily assessment and active management of inpatients, minor procedures and discharge summaries, under the supervision of the Surgeon. Consults and teaching of medical students and residents is also required. Clinical Associates/ Surgical Hospitalists will be expected to work 4 to 6 shifts/month, shifts are Monday to Sunday, including weekends and holidays and are 11-12 hours long.
