The group at Airdrie Urgent Care is looking for a trained individual to join their group providing coverage for both day and night 8 hour shifts. The position will start February 1, 2023 and include 10 shifts per month.
Airdrie is a vibrant community of 74,000 people, 30 minutes north of Calgary. The Urgent Care (UC) functions as the primary source of urgent medical treatment for all presenting individuals, with 40% of the presentations being pediatric patients. The UC also serves a large catchment for surrounding communities and north Calgary. The successful applicant needs to have a keen interest in ER/Urgent Care. Preference will be given to applicants who have at least 1 year of ER/Urgent Care/Rural Emergency experience. The applicant should be comfortable with managing a wide range of high acuity presentations, including sedation and resuscitation. The successful candidate needs to provide proof of ACLS/PALS/conscious sedation training such as ProSed.

The candidate must be eligible for Licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta.
Must read, write and speak English.
